Weekly Bible Verse

We will begin memorizing Psalm 23.

We'll work on it the rest of the year. Verse 1 is, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

Spelling

No more spelling lists until 2nd grade!

Daily Routines

School hours are 8:10-3:00

Please send the following to school with your child each day:
*a signed agenda
*a water bottle
*a snack for the afternoon
*a lunch box (unless you have ordered hot lunch)

Homework

Please be sure to have your child read for at least 45 minutes per week and record the minutes on the monthly Reading Calendar. These are due the FIRST OF EACH MONTH.

Always practice the Dolch Sight Word list for first grade, spelling words, and addition & subtraction facts.
